Lenovo ThinkPad X230 Review
The ThinkPad X230 is one of the latest ultraportables to join the Lenovo fold, sporting Intel’s newly announced dual-core Ivy Bridge processor, also (arguably more importantly) Lenovo’s new Precision computer keyboard — exactly the exact comfortable yet contentious group of chiclet keys the company’s added into all its brand new models. The 12.5-inch ThinkPad X230 that I reviewed has been built with a 2.6GHz Core i5-3320M chip, 4GB of RAM, also a 320GB 5400 RPM hard drive, along with Intel integrated graphics — it falls close to the middle of this X230 line up, and is coming in at $1,249 (as configured).
Lenovo ThinkPad X230 Feature
With the exception of the revamped keyboard, Lenovo has largely made a decision to remain its notebook program. Is it a winning plan? I’ll get to this and more, so read on. The newly announced Ivy Bridge dual-core Core i5-3220M will not fail to impress. As the X230 doesn’t keep up with a few of the pricier ultrabooks on the current market, it handled our artificial benchmarks amicably, rather than made the slightest piece of fuss while in use.
