Lenovo ThinkPad E550 Review

The first thing you are going to see once the E550 is un-wrapped is that a charcoal dark grey polycarbonate surface since the lid. It has an unexpected premium quality feel to it, a really smooth texture that seems great on touch. The chassis is manufactured of a solid plastic decked out at a similar dark gray, with the identifying ThinkPad logo in the lower right, crimson navigation joystick at the center of the keyboard and also three actual mouse buttons above the trackpad.

Lenovo ThinkPad E550 Feature

To the best is really a fingerprint scanner. A vent occupies nearly half the space on the left side, with a variety of ports, including Ethernet, VGA, HDMI, and a couple of USB 3.0 interfaces, brightly colored black instead of the customary blue. There’s a USB 2.0 port on the opposing side, an optical drive, and the proprietary rectangular Lenovo power connector (which handily could be plugged into either way around).
